Study: Trypanosoma cruzi and T. rangeli mini-exon sequencing
show Abstracthide Abstract
Mini-exon fragments were amplified from T. cruzi and/or T. rangeli infected triatomine intestinal content by polymerase chain reaction and sequenced on the Illumina MiSeq platform. Triatomines (Rhodnius ecuadoriensis and Panstrongylus chinai) were collected in Loja Province, southern Ecuador. Sequencing also included amplicons generated from T. cruzi reference clone epimastigote DNA.
